Manager of Cost and Corporate Accounting.

Clayton Corporation, a manufacturing company located in Fenton, Missouri has an excellent opportunity for a Manager of Cost and Corporate Accounting.

The Manager of Cost and Corporate Accounting will perform duties required to coordinate personnel and activities over inventory, month end close procedures, accounts payables, payroll and provide accounting information. 

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to maintain standard costs for all three operating divisions. Monitor raw material costs; coordinate efforts with personnel in each location to determine reasonableness of costs of inventory items and ensure proper overhead allocation drivers are identified and allocation processes are current.  Other functions include monitor physical inventory process, including coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories at all plant and public warehouses. Ensure accounting data is accurately entered into the computer system, generate and print financial reports, perform activities involved in month end closing, prepare journal entries, including accruing entries. This key position also leads and directs the Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.

Successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting. Seven years’ of experience in public or industry accounting in a manufacturing environment. One year of management experience. Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of JD Edwards is preferred.
